The NEBOSH IGC covers the full spectrum of workplace health and safety management — from legal duties and risk assessment to hazard control, incident investigation, and performance monitoring. It is widely respected by employers across every industry worldwide.
UNIT GIC1
Covers the principles behind managing health and safety — including legal obligations, safety management systems (ISO 45001 / ILO-OSH 2001), risk management processes, human factors, incident investigation, and monitoring & review.
Assessed by a 5-hour open book examination (OBE) — scenario-based questions based on a realistic workplace scenario, completed remotely. You may reference your study materials.
